Sledding Services and Industry AST 1 Request Form
Sled guiding with a CMBGA Level 3 guide is $495 per day for the first 2 riders and $50 per day for every rider after that. To request a guiding or industry AST 1 experience, simply fill out the form below.
2-Day Intro to Sledding Workshops (Novice to Beginner) range from $400 to $550 per person:
- This intro course is designed for people who have less than 14 days on-mountain sledding experience. In this course you will learn basic mountain safety and decision making, troubleshooting of beginner-level on-mountain problems, and the basic skills to ride safely and confidently this sled season. You will get lots of beginner sled practise time in low-risk areas under the guidance and supervision of a Level 3 CMBGA guide. (See the course calendar here)
- If you are newer to sledding, this is the perfect course to take before enrolling in your AST 1 course.
1-Day Sled Skills Workshops range from $225 to $275 per person:
- The beginner-intermediate course will give you lots of practise on varied terrain while learning troubleshooting for common on-mountain problems. Prior sled experience required; if you don't have any you can take the 2-Day Intro to Sledding Workshop first.
- The intermediate-advanced course is for experienced riders who wish to take their sledding skills to the next level. Try new things and push yourself to new places under the guidance and supervision of a Level 3 CMBGA guide!
- For these courses, you will need your AST 1. We strongly recommend that you have taken it within the last 3 years. If you don't have a current AST 1 certification, you can find upcoming AST 1 courses on the "Calendar" page of this website (click here).
All of the sledding courses and sled guiding service are run through a separate local sled guiding business.
